In a Kabul neighborhood still recovering from decades of war, over 5,000 girls long for an education. Their old school was overcrowded and could not accommodate them all. It had no electricity and was in disrepair. U.S. Forces in Afghanistan renovated and painted the old building, and built a new two-story, 16-classroom building and a boundary wall for safety....
