SAN ANGELO, Texas --
The 344th Military Intelligence Battalion held its 246th Army Birthday Ball at the Bentwood Country Club, June 11.
This year, the ball’s theme emphasized restoration from the previous year’s hardships, and highlighted the heroes of daily operations.
“We are so thankful to all of the frontline medical workers, the Soldiers, their families, and the San Angelo community for everything they’ve done to help us continue our mission,” said Army Staff Sgt. Chardonnay Ford, 344th MI BN human resources noncommissioned officer. “This ball is to honor them as well.”
The ball also honored the heroes of the past and present, and looked forward to the future.
“We have a long history formed because of the heroes who fought for a greater cause. Today we are taking time to honor and celebrate the heroes among us," said Army Lt. Col. Joseph Garwacki, 344th MI BN commander. “This celebration, our traditions, and gathering together once again, are all part of restoring ourselves, our families and our force.”
