647th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) issues over 18,000 face masks to personnel in 120 separate military units serving on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Honolulu.
Lieutenant Colonel Hinds lead his contracting team of Master Sergeant Pennock and Tech Sergeant Shriver to fulfill an order to provide personal protective equipment to the 15th Wing and its mission partners.
Each military service member will be issued two facemasks. The total effort cost nearly $100,000 and will help prevent further spread of COVID-19 to service members and their families stationed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
