The longest running governor in Texas history, Rick Perry, met with 36th Infantry Division soldiers during his visit here on Aug. 5. The governor first toured the Division’s headquarters building where he met and spoke with the Commanding General for the 36th, Maj. Gen. James K. “Red” Brown, and finished his stay by meeting with Soldiers on the Curry Mortar Range, where he was given the opportunity to fire mortar rounds with various gun crews. (Photo by Staff Sgt.
