It is closed for scheduled maintenance repairs until noon Sept. 24, 2013. There is no auxiliary lock at this project. Shippers are advised to utilize the alternative route via the lower Cumberland River, Barkley Lock and Barkley Canal. Barkley Lock will return to a 24-hour operation during this closure period.
