Three individuals in military-style camouflage uniforms are positioned behind a large moss-covered rock in a forested environment, aiming paintball guns forward. They appear to be engaged in a paintball or airsoft training exercise, as evidenced by the visible hopper/loader attachments on the weapons. The setting is a dense woodland area with pine trees and dappled sunlight.

U.S. Army Soldiers from the 11th Airborne Division and Indian Army Soldiers conduct combined jungle squad tactical exercises in Auli, India, Sept. 19, 2026, during Exercise Yudh Abhyas 2026. Integrated squads navigated dense vegetation and engaged targets using simulation rounds, building small-unit interoperability and combined tactics, techniques and procedures between the two forces. The training concluded with a joint rappelling exercise down a rock face, reinforcing mountain warfare skills critical to operating in the high-altitude terrain surrounding Auli.
