Two individuals in full military-style camouflage gear are positioned behind large moss-covered rocks in a forested outdoor environment. Both are holding paintball markers (guns) with hopper feed systems visible on top, indicating this is a paintball or milsim (military simulation) activity. They appear to be taking tactical cover positions as part of a scenario-based game.

U.S. Army Soldiers from the 11th Airborne Division and Indian Army Soldiers conduct combined jungle squad tactical exercises in Auli, India, Sept. 19, 2026, during Exercise Yudh Abhyas 2026. Integrated squads navigated dense vegetation and engaged targets using simulation rounds, building small-unit interoperability and combined tactics, techniques and procedures between the two forces. The training concluded with a joint rappelling exercise down a rock face, reinforcing mountain warfare skills critical to operating in the high-altitude terrain surrounding Auli.
