A naval warship is firing its forward deck gun during what appears to be a live-fire exercise at sea. A large cloud of gray smoke and gun blast debris is visible at the muzzle of the cannon, which is pointed to the starboard side. The vessel is underway on calm, deep blue open ocean under clear skies.
