A large fireball explosion is visible on the left side of a row of shipping containers or modular structures in an open desert or arid landscape. Two tall poles with equipment mounted at their tops flank the structure, suggesting this may be a controlled test or demonstration event. The setting appears to be a remote testing range with mountains visible in the background.

An AGM-190A Havoc Spear small cruise missile is deployed from an Air Force Special Operations Command aircraft during a test evaluation. Havoc Spear is a mission-adaptable, modular-design small cruise missile that can be rapidly produced at relatively low cost. During a combat evaluation in the spring of 2026, the new missile’s capabilities proved to be accurate and effective when employed from an AFSOC platform in a test configuration, meeting AFSOC’s requirement for a small cruise missile.
