    A Green Beret assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) reflects on the sacrifice of fallen service members at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Sept. 11, 2026. On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, 1st SFG(A) conducted a solemn remembrance ceremony to honor the sacrifices of service members lost during the Global War on Terrorism.
