    A Japan Air Self-Defense Force KC-46A Pegasus assigned to the 405th Air Refueling Squadron, and two Mitsubishi F-2s assigned to the 8th Fighter Squadron, fly in formation during bilateral training over the Pacific Ocean, Sept. 2, 2026. The bilateral training opened up interactions between Kadena AB and the JASDF, exchanging refueling procedures for a range of KC-46 operations.
