A Peruvian Army instructor teaches U.S., Peruvian and Chilean soldiers dry-land swimming techniques and amphibious tactics during Southern Vanguard 26 in Sauce, Peru, Sept. 10th, 2026. The multinational training exercise strengthens interoperability and readiness for combined future operations.
SV26 brings together approximately 400 warfighters to execute a field training exercise and command post exercise in a demanding austere jungle environment. The training includes combined operations designed to simulate real-world contingencies in the complex terrain of the Amazon Jungle hills of Sauce, Peru.
