A single-story commercial or institutional building has sustained significant wind damage, with large sections of roofing material and sheathing torn away, exposing the underlying wooden roof framing. Debris including roofing panels and underlayment has peeled back and collapsed against the front facade near the entrance door. The damage is consistent with hurricane or severe windstorm impact.

PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY, KEKAHA (September 9, 2026) - The effects of Hurricane Lowell at Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) included significant roof damage to office buildings, damaged structures, fallen trees and impacts to equipment and facilities across the installation. PMRF announced Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness (TCCOR) All Clear on Sept. 9, 2026, following the completion of initial storm response and safety assessments associated with Hurricane Lowell. PMRF personnel teams are actively assessing damage and working to recover as many services and facilities as possible. Recovery crews are continuing efforts to address roof and structural damages, fallen trees, and other impacts to facilities and infrastructure. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain test and training range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air, and space operations simultaneously.
