PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY, KEKAHA (September 9, 2026) -Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) recovery crews work to remove sand from the airfield in preparation for reopening. PMRF announced Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness (TCCOR) All Clear on Sept. 9, 2026, following the completion of initial storm response and safety assessments associated with Hurricane Lowell. PMRF personnel teams are actively assessing damage and working to recover as many services and facilities as possible. Recovery crews are continuing efforts to address roof and structural damages, fallen trees, and other impacts to facilities and infrastructure. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain test and training range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air, and space operations simultaneously.
