    U.S. Marines assigned to 3rd Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, fire a multi-role, anti-armor, anti-personnel, weapon system at a simulated target during a heavy explosive weapons range for a live-fire basic skills package at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Sept. 2, 2026. The live-fire training focused on combat readiness and small-unit leadership through long and short-bay drills, fragmentation grenade employment, and a heavy explosive weapons package, developing 3rd LCT’s team leaders’ ability to employ Marines and make sound decisions in a dynamic combat environment.
