    U.S. Marine Corps Col. Timothy R. Drieslein, commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, and Jonathan Mason, MCAS Cherry Point's Marine Corps Community Services director, sign a suicide prevention pledge at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, Sept. 4, 2026. This September, the Defense Suicide Prevention Office calls on every member of the Department of War to speak up, support one another, and take action.
