    Service dogs in training and their puppy raisers from Mutts with a Mission come aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) to participate in a memorial service for the recently departed Mutts with a Mission expeditionary facility dog, Capt. Poseidon, held onboard at Naval Station Norfolk, Sept. 3, 2026. Nimitz is currently homeported in Naval Station Norfolk as a part of Carrier Strike Group 8.
