Kylie Griffin, the daughter of U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin Griffin, cuts the ribbon to the "Griffin Room," during a ceremony in the the 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment headquarters building at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Aug. 6, 2013. A room was dedicated in memory of Command Sgt. Maj. Griffin, who served in the 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment for six years as the operations sergeant major and the command sergeant major.
