A military soldier in camouflage uniform with a yellow safety vest is directing a large wheeled armored vehicle (consistent with a Stryker-type APC) through a checkpoint or gate entry point. The scene appears to be on a military installation, with security barriers, a stop sign, and chain-link fencing visible. The vehicle is emitting exhaust smoke as it maneuvers through the controlled access point.

Soldiers assigned to the newly redesignated 3rd Stryker Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, began receiving Stryker vehicles at Fort Carson, Colorado, Sept. 2, marking a key milestone in the brigade’s transition to a Stryker formation.
From tracks to wheels, the Iron Brigade continues its legacy of readiness, adapting its formation to meet the Army’s evolving requirements. The vehicles will support hands-on training, platform familiarization, and leader development as Soldiers and leaders build a mobile and ready force. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Michael Knight)
