    A U.S. Marine assigned to Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, 6th Marine Regiment prepares to conduct a mechanized infantry live fire range on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 2, 2026. U.S. Marines assigned to BLT 1/8 conducted the range to ensure they remain a highly lethal and adaptable force in preparation for the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s upcoming deployment.
