A black-and-white photograph depicting what appears to be a military or government computer operations center, likely from the 1960s. One operator is seated at a large console with a keyboard and telephone, while three men — two in military uniforms and one in a civilian suit — stand in conversation behind him. The background is lined with large reel-to-reel magnetic tape drive units numbered sequentially.

In this undated photo, then-LTC Donald Lasher (standing, left) and SECARMY Stanley Resor (center) are seen at the Radford data center, then called DDPC. LTC Lasher was one of the first commanders at DDPC, and he was promoted to Major General (MG) Lasher. MG Lasher was one of the Army's early leaders in automation and information technology, ultimately rising to command the Army's Computer Systems Command.
