Green Berets assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) identify a simulated enemy position during a reconnaissance mission as part of joint exercise Red Flag near Delta Junction, Alaska, Aug. 20, 2026. One Green Beret observed the target through his rifle optic while another signaled toward the simulated enemy position, rehearsing target identification and reporting procedures in a realistic field environment.
