Green Berets assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) employ a small unmanned aircraft system to conduct aerial reconnaissance and identify simulated targets during joint exercise Red Flag near Delta Junction, Alaska, Aug. 20, 2026. The training provided special operations forces an opportunity to employ unmanned systems for reconnaissance and target identification while operating from concealed positions in a realistic field environment.
