    U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Mitchell Ryan, a maintenance management analyst with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron (MWHS) 2, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, hits a long drive at hole five while participating in the 2026 Sergeants Major Golf Tournament, at the Sound of Freedom Golf Course, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Aug. 28, 2026. Service members attending the tournament used the event to strengthen relationships and foster esprit de corps.
