U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Joseph Harrald, 35th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) Combat Arms Training and Maintenance instructor, gives a safety briefing prior to heavy weapons training at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Aug. 28, 2026. Through recurring weapons training, 35th SFS Airmen maintain the proficiency required to defend the installation against ground threats and protect the personnel, aircraft and infrastructure critical to mission execution.
