Green Berets assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) prepare a Parrot unmanned aircraft system for a reconnaissance mission during a joint exercise with the U.S. Air Force as part of Red Flag near Delta Junction, Alaska, Aug. 17, 2026. The exercise provided special operations forces an opportunity to employ unmanned systems for reconnaissance and intelligence collection in a realistic, contested training environment alongside joint force partners.
