Maine Army National Guard Soldiers participate in the Adjutant General’s Marksmanship Competition, commonly known as the TAG Match, Aug. 21-23, 2026. Nine Soldiers representing five units competed in the two-day event following a practice and familiarization day Aug. 21. 2026, in Bangor, Maine. The competition provides an opportunity for Soldiers to test, refine and improve their marksmanship skills while learning from fellow competitors and instructors.
