A military fifth-generation stealth fighter jet, identifiable as an F-35, is positioned on a tarmac or forward operating strip in a semi-arid, hilly environment. Ground crew personnel in combat gear are actively working around the aircraft, with at least one person handling what appears to be a fuel hose. The scene suggests a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) or expeditionary ground operations exercise.
