A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter (tail number 165) hovers low over a tarmac while ground personnel attach a sling load beneath the aircraft. Several soldiers in full combat gear crouch beneath the helicopter to connect rigging to the cargo hook. At least one additional Chinook is visible in the background, suggesting a multi-aircraft sling-load training or operational exercise.
