U.S. Navy Hull Maintenance Technician 1st Class Lakesha Conway, from Michigan, holds a chief selectee guidon and leads the command triad and chiefs aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) in a formation run on the aft missile deck while underway in the Indian Ocean, Aug. 26, 2026. Mustin is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
