A U.S. Marine Corps UH-1Y Venom assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 369, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, conducts simulated close air support as part of Mountain Exercise 4-26 at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, California, Aug. 19, 2026. MTX 4-26 is a month-long training evolution that is designed to strengthen unit cohesion and prepare the battalion for rapid mobilization to operate as an effective Marine Air Ground Task Force in austere, mountainous terrain.
