Various sized Adjustable Length Towbars (ALBARs) were used to park a CH-53K King Stallion heavy lift helicopter during recent testing in preparation for the first deployment of the CH-53K with a Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). The testing was to finalize the necessary equipment needed for stowing the aircraft efficiently aboard an amphibious assault ship.
