The Child Development Center and Family Advocacy Program teamed up to hold an event to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month at the Covella Pond Amphitheater at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, April 18.
This event was organized to spread awareness of the importance of being alert and mindful of child safety. Remarks were given by MCLB Albany Commanding Officer Col. Michael Fitzgerald, Courtny Girley of Georgia Division of Family and Children Services, and Dougherty Juvenile Court Chief Judge Herbie Solomon. The CDC’s Pre-K class shared a song and poem.
