The Caisson Detachment from the 3d Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) present the colors during the Public Health Command East Change of Command.
On June 16, 2026, service members from Public Health Command East gathered on the Fort Meade Parade Field for their Change of Command. Col. Justin Schlanser passed command to Col. Sarah Cooper. Brig. Gen. James Burk, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Medical Readiness Command, East, Director of the Defense Health Network East, and the 27th Chief of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps presided over the ceremony.
