U.S. and partner nation military service members assigned to Pacific Partnership 2026 (PP26) walk into the Masjid An-Nur School for a PP26 disaster preparedness training event for Timorese school and community leaders in Dili, Timor-Leste, Aug. 21, 2026. The training provided participants with information and practical guidance to better prepare their community for potential disasters and strengthen local disaster preparedness capabilities. Now in its 22nd iteration, the Pacific Partnership series is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster management preparedness mission conducted in the region. Pacific Partnership works collaboratively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.
