A military aviator in an olive drab flight suit is photographed from a low angle while gripping what appears to be a propeller blade or aircraft control surface with one raised arm. The individual wears multiple patches including a US flag patch, a state flag patch (appears to be North Carolina), a unit patch, and aviator wings on the chest. The dramatic upward angle and overcast sky create a striking compositional effect.
