U.S. Navy Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Joseph Rogel, a security detail member assigned to Pacific Partnership 2026 (PP26), hands out toothbrushes during a PP26 host nation outreach event at the Ensino Basico 123 Bogoro School in Dili, Timor-Leste, Aug. 20, 2026. During the event, U.S. and partner nation military healthcare practitioners discussed dental hygiene, mental health, wild animal health and rabies prevention. Now in its 22nd iteration, the Pacific Partnership series is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster management preparedness mission conducted in the region. Pacific Partnership works collaboratively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.
