Firefighters assigned to the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron conduct interior fire suppression during a full-scale emergency response exercise with mutual aid partners at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, Aug. 19, 2026. The Peterson SFB Fire Department is the first responder for all aircraft emergencies at the Colorado Springs Airport through a mutual aid agreement.
