U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Caleb Powell, U.S. Army Sgt. Dylan TrueHeart and Staff Sgt. Zachary Baise, members of Kentucky National Guard’s 41st Civil Support Team (CST), prepare to make entry into a warehouse during a training scenario at Jim Beam Distillery Booker Noe Plant in Boston, Kentucky, Aug. 11, 2026. The 41st CST conducted a joint training exercise with the North Carolina National Guard’s 42nd CST designed to test how teams integrate and communicate during a complex incident. During the exercise, teams conducted survey operations in separate buildings while coordinating communications and sharing critical information across the incident site. The realistic scenarios provided an opportunity to strengthen interoperability, coordination and decision-making in a controlled training environment.
