Officers and sailors from the JS Chokai, a Kongo-class guided-missile destroyer of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), pay their respects to the fallen on the USS Arizona Memorial, August 17. While the JS Chokai is making a port call at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, its leadership laid a wreath on the memorial. Commissioned in 1998, DDG-176 is named after Mount Chokai.
