A memorial monument base displays four red poppy wreaths, a traditional British symbol of remembrance for fallen soldiers. A dedication plaque on the stone base reads 'Unveiled on 18th June 2007 by The Viscount Lord Slim OBE DL and Holly Wingate.' The wreaths bear various organizational insignia and handwritten tribute cards, surrounded by small memorial crosses and individual poppies placed on the ground.
