U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Gary Montalvo, prospective commander, Submarine Group 7, salutes the side boys during a change of command ceremony at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Aug. 17, 2026. During the ceremony, U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Lincoln Reifsteck was relieved by Montalvo as Commander, Submarine Group 7.
