U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, and Tentara Nasional Indonesia–Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) service members participate in a joint tug-of-war competition during Cultural Day Fun Games on Indonesian Independence Day at Baturaja Combat Training Center, Indonesia, Aug. 17, 2026, during Exercise Ksatria Warrior 2026 (KW26). The timing of KW26 allowed U.S. Army Soldiers to take part in TNI-AD's celebration of Indonesian Independence Day, providing an opportunity for service members from both nations to build relationships beyond training while participating in cultural activities and celebration games together.
