U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, pose for a group photo alongside members of Tentara Nasional Indonesia–Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) prior to Cultural Day Fun Games during Indonesian Independence Day celebrations at Baturaja Combat Training Center, Indonesia, Aug. 17, 2026, during Exercise Ksatria Warrior 2026 (KW26). The Indonesian and U.S. military relationship is one of deep mutual respect and continues to flourish. The timing of KW26 allowed U.S. Army Soldiers to take part in TNI-AD's celebration of Indonesian Independence Day, providing an opportunity for service members from both nations to build relationships beyond training while participating in cultural activities and celebration games together.
