A military parade is taking place on a paved street, featuring soldiers in green camouflage uniforms and distinctive red berets marching in formation. A prominent Croatian flag (red-white-blue with the Croatian coat of arms checkerboard) is being carried by one of the soldiers. Spectators line the left side of the route behind a red rope barrier, and white canopy tents serve as viewing platforms or official stands.

Soldiers of the 17th Croatian contingent, NATO Forward Land Forces (FLF) Battle Group-Poland, march during Polish Armed Forces Day, in Warsaw, Poland on Aug. 15, 2026. This national holiday, observed annually on Aug. 15, commemorates Poland’s victory over Soviet Russia in the 1920 Battle of Warsaw during the Polish-Soviet War. The NATO FLF Battle Group-Poland attended the parade as one of V Corps’ ready forces in Europe. The battle group builds vigilance, lethality, and interoperability through collaborative forums, multinational exercises, unit-level training, and professional relationships with allies.
