Capt. Craig Malloy, outgoing Naval Hospital (NH) Jacksonville director and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Jacksonville commander, receives the Legion of Merit Award from Rear Adm. Robert Hawkins, Naval Medical Forces Atlantic commander, during a change of command ceremony Aug. 13. The award recognized Malloy’s exceptional meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service during his tour as director. Malloy passed on leadership of NH Jacksonville — comprised of the Navy’s third largest hospital and five branch health clinics across Florida and Georgia — to Capt. Cindi Palacios.
