John Mountford, deputy commanding general of readiness, V Corps, addresses the formation and guests during a Transfer of Authority ceremony with the outgoing 510th Regional Support Group (RSG), 7th Mission Support Command, Army Reserve, and the incoming 734th RSG, Iowa Army National Guard, on Aug. 13 2026, at Camp Kosciuszko in Poznań, Poland. Casing and uncasing the colors symbolize the formal transfer of responsibility between units. The outgoing unit cases its colors to mark the end of its mission, while the incoming unit uncases its colors to signify its arrival, authority, and readiness to assume the mission. The 734th RSG is deployed to Central Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve under V Corps and will be carrying out base operating support - integrator functions across multiple locations.
