    Soldiers assigned to Soldiers assigned to 3rd Battalion, Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment, British Army, conduct area defense and medical evacuation training during Northern Strike 26-2 at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Michigan, Aug. 10, 2026. The training focused on defending urban terrain by using buildings, streets and other features to disrupt and defeat an opposing force while maintaining control of key terrain.

    Northern Strike is an Army sponsored, multi-component, multinational exercise designed to build readiness and enhance interoperability with allied forces to fight and win. Northern Strike 26-2, Michigan’s largest and longest exercise designed to validate readiness of the joint reserve force, is held Aug. 1 to 15, 2026 at the National All-Domain Warfighting Center.
