    (WEST BRANCH, Iowa) Alex Hoover (right) celebrates with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army Hoover-Ball teams after the first Army vs. Navy Hoover-Ball expedition game during Hoover’s Hometown Days, Aug. 8, 2026. The Navy’s win was a highlight at the annual August event honors the town’s most famous citizen, President Herbert Hoover, during a town block party filled with history and family-friendly fun.
