Patti Bagley sews tattered clothing for hundreds of homeless veterans at the 3-day Ventura County Stand Down, July 26. Bagley was one of hundreds of volunteers including more than 20 Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 who provided, setup and broke down 13 large-size tents each able to house 12 homeless veterans. Seabees from across Ventura County have consistently volunteered during the Ventura County Stand Down since its inception in 1993. NMCB 3 provides commanders and Navy component commanders with combat ready warfighters capable of general engineering, construction and limited combat engineering across the full range of military operations.
